The Basics

Wait, a full-face pimple patch exists?

Yeah — we invented it. Patchface is the world's first full-face hydrocolloid pimple patch. Two pieces (upper and lower) that cover your entire face so every breakout gets treated, not just the obvious ones. Patent pending.

What's in the box?

4 full-face masks. Each mask is 2 pieces (upper face + lower face), so that's 4 full nights of treatment per box.

Is it see-through or am I gonna look wild?

The mask is translucent. It's designed to be worn overnight while you sleep, so no one sees you in it but your pillow. That said — if you want to wear it on a Zoom call, that's a lifestyle choice we fully support.

How it works

Does it actually pull stuff out?

Yes. Hydrocolloid absorbs fluid from active breakouts — oil, pus, and impurities. When you peel it off in the morning, you'll see white spots where it pulled gunk out of your skin. Satisfying and a little gross.

How long do I wear it?

6–8 hours. We recommend applying right before bed, letting it do its thing overnight, and peeling in the morning.

How often should I use it?

2–3 times per week is ideal for most people. If you're in a major breakout cycle, you can use it more often. It's gentle enough for frequent use.

When should I wear it?

At night, after cleansing, before bed. Wash your face, pat dry, no moisturizer, apply the two pieces, smooth down the edges, and sleep.

Ingredients & skin

What if my skin is sensitive?

Patchface is fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and dermatologist-friendly. No active acids or ingredients that typically irritate sensitive skin. Hydrocolloid itself is a gentle wound-care material — originally developed for medical use.

Can I use it with retinol or other actives?

We recommend NOT using retinol or other strong actives the same night. Apply Patchface on a clean, dry face with nothing else on it. If you use retinol nightly, alternate — retinol one night, Patchface the next.

Will it damage my skin barrier?

No. Hydrocolloid is a protective barrier itself — it's commonly used in wound care because it's gentle and doesn't strip the skin. That said, if you use it every single night for months, like anything, you may want to take breaks. 2–3 times a week is the sweet spot.

Is it vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. Patchface is vegan, cruelty-free, and never tested on animals. Ever.

Shipping & returns

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship from our Denver warehouse within 1–2 business days. Standard US shipping is 3–5 business days. International shipping 7–14 business days depending on location.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — free US shipping on orders over $30. Under that, shipping is a flat $4.99.

What if it doesn't work for me?

We back every box with a 30-day guarantee. If Patchface isn't working for you, reach out at hello@patchface.com and we'll make it right — refund, replacement, whatever works for you.

Can I return an opened box?

Yes, within 30 days. We ask that you reach out first so we can understand what didn't work — we use that feedback to keep improving the product.

The company

Is this actually patented?

Yes. We have a U.S. patent pending on the full-face hydrocolloid mask design. We're the original.

Where is Patchface made?

Designed in Denver, Colorado. Manufactured by our partner lab overseas, which specializes in hydrocolloid and medical-grade adhesives. We personally test and approve every batch before it ships.

Who is behind Patchface?

Patchface Labs is a small, founder-led skincare brand based in Denver. We're independent and self-funded. Read more about how it started on our About page.
